  1. Since version 1.0.2, several new features have been added to File Kit:

  3.         ‚Ä¢ File Kit displays information about alias files, including the pathname of the original file the alias file describes.

  5.         ‚Ä¢ File Kit supports drag and drop under System 7.0. To display information about a file, you can now drag the file‚Äôs icon over the File Kit icon in the Finder. File Kit launches and displays information for the file.

  7.         ‚Ä¢ The main file selection list treats alias files correctly, and now behaves like the standard Apple file selection dialog.

  9.         ‚Ä¢ File Kit supports both a basic and advanced mode. In advanced mode, file information dialogs display information that is primarily of interest to programmers and interested power users.
